media releases - Unisa Women in Research Annual Lecture

The Executive Director for Research, Professor Maluleke, would like to invite you to the 2010 Unisa Women-in-Research (UWiR) Annual Lecture. Leading woman researcher, Professor Mpilo Pearl Sithole, from the School of Social Work and Community Development, UKZN, will be the key-note speaker. The UWiR Annual Lecture is part of the UWiR Initiative which is a programme designed to enhance and elevate the levels of women’s participation in research at Unisa.

The programme entails i) the provision of financial support for women doing doctoral research; ii) conducting a bi-annual audit of the profiles of Unisa women in research, iii) the show-casing of research conducted by women at Unisa.
