media releases - Unisa campus to be used for 2010 games

Unisa’s parking areas at the Pretoria main campus will be utilized as a park and ride facility during the FIFA World Cup games, as part of its involvement in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The University’s main campus has more than 1 500 parking lots that will be made available for the park and ride facility.  A total of six games will be played in Pretoria during the soccer tournament.

The facility will be available for games to the played on the following dates:

13, 16, 19, 23, 25 and 29 June 2010.

All the functions and events at the campus have been scheduled to allow for an uninterrupted use of the parking areas.
