The Principal and Vice Chancellor, Prof N Barney Pityana, on behalf of the Council of the University of South Africa, cordially invites you and your partner to the first UNISA autumn graduation ceremony.

Keynote address: Prof Kader Asmal, Professor Extraordinary, Faculty of Law, University of the Western Cape on “The Merger: Social Engineering or Educational Necessity”

During the ceremony the following honorary degrees will be conferred:

The degree of Doctor of Commerce (honoris causa) on Dr ATM Mokgokong for her outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated leadership capabilities within the corporate sector and corporate citizenship and the degree of Doctor of Literature and Philosophy (honoris causa) on Archbishop GF Daniel for his long-term commitment to justice and peace, for his on-going work in the field of ecumenism and for spending his life in the service of humanity serving the poor and the marginalized.
