Sales and distribution: books and journals

Unisa Press serves the university’s research and innovation strategy by effectively promoting accessibility to, and disseminating and developing the knowledge and research outputs of local and international scholars. Our readers can purchase our books using a number of different methods.

Members of the public, bookstores and students

Members of the public, bookstores and students can order books and select journals directly from Unisa Press.

Direct sales

Unisa Press Bookshop (Unisa Registration Hall, Sunnyside Campus):

Payments are accepted by debit card, credit card (VISA and MasterCard) and bank deposit payments.
We regret that no cash or cheques can be accepted. All paid-for items are issued immediately, and not mailed out.
Unisa students need to supply their student number when buying select Unisa student items  students may buy with credit on their student account.

Retail stores can order from Unisa Press distributor: Blue Weaver Distributors. Blue Weaver Distributors actively service the following countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Lesotho and Swaziland. Blue Weaver also works with preferred retailers in Kenya, Uganda, Malawi and Mozambique.

All South African Rand prices include VAT at 14%. Prices are subject to alteration without notice.
Postage and packaging: Customers other than retailers are charged packaging and postage.
The prices of books ordered from overseas or other countries in Africa include airmail.
