	The Comparative and International Law Journal of Southern Africa (CILSA) (published under the auspices of the Institute of Foreign and Comparative Law)

	SA Publiekreg / Public Law SA Yearbook of International Law (SAYIL) (the last two are published under the auspices of the VerLoren van Themaat Centre for Public Law Studies, and some of the country' s leading academics serve on the editorial boards of these two journals)
	Professor Gretchen Carpenter from the Department of Constitutional and Public International Law, is the editor-in-chief of one of South Africa' s oldest and most illustrious law journals, the Journal for Contemporary Roman-Dutch Law, more generally known as the THRHR. Dr Johann Knobel of the Department of Private Law is one of the assistant editors.
