A National Senior Certificate (Degree endorsement) or a Senior Certificate with matriculation exemption, or qualify for the exemption from the matriculation board, with an achievement rating of 4 (50-59%) or better in the language of learning and teaching. A student who does not qualify in terms of the statutory or additional requirements, may follow Unisa's alternative pathways or apply for admission to an appropriate diploma or alternatively for a vocational higher certificate
