In addition to the individual qualification admission requirements listed below, there may be additional admission requirements based on the qualification you choose. Meeting these requirements does not mean automatic acceptance; each application will be considered individually.

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Development: Foundation Phase) 02593 A National Senior Certificate (Degree endorsement) or a Senior Certificate with matriculation exemption, or qualify for the exemption from the matriculation board, with an achievement rating of 4 (50-59%) or better in the language of learning and teaching. A student who does not qualify in terms of the statutory or additional requirements, may follow Unisa's alternative pathways or apply for admission to an appropriate diploma or alternatively for a vocational higher certificate 480 7
Bachelor of Education (Intermediate and Senior Phase) 02607 A National Senior Certificate (Degree endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching. A student who does not qualify in terms of the statutory or additional requirements, may follow Unisa's alternative pathways. 480 7
Bachelor of Education (Senior and Further Education and Training Phases) 02615 A National Senior Certificate (Degree endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching.
