Mr Benjamin Leshilo was nominated as the interim chairperson of the committee and he will work closely with the CEMS Marketing and Communication Specialists to create platforms for engagement.

During her presentation, Prof. Ngambi, Executive Dean at CEMS said, “As the largest College of Economic and Management Sciences on the African continent, we have the responsibility and capacity to positively contribute to the economic development of our society. Partnering with alumni who embody the RARE (Responsible, Accountable, Relevant and Ethical) principles we will be able to achieve our mission”. Furthermore, a proposal for a CEMS alumni award was presented.

Representing the alumni office, Mr Joshua Mpiriane said, “It is important for the CEMS alumni to work closely with the office of alumni relations so we can support and leverage on activities of a similar purpose”. A number of Alumni activities have been identified for implementation in 2012.
