Prof Ansie Minnaar
1. Short biography
Prof Ansie Minnaar is staff member at the Institute for Open Distance learning (IODL), University of South Africa in Pretoria, South Africa. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education and research supervision, she is responsible for ODL research and postgraduate research programmes at IODL.
Ansie is the author of various articles regarding job satisfaction, management of health services, HIV and AIDS in the workplace and the author of a number of academic books such as Infection Control Made Easy, A Hospital Guide for Health Professionals and co-author of Introduction to Health Services Management, Leadership in Health Services Management and The Pocket Guide for HIV and AIDS and The Workbook on HIV and AIDS. She authored various chapters in Principles and Practice of Health Care. Upcoming is a chapter on meta-cognition in online learning in an international book on distance education.
