In addition to the individual qualification admission requirements listed below, there may be additional admission requirements based on the qualification you choose. Meeting these requirements does not mean automatic acceptance; each application will be considered individually.

Honours Bachelor of Science in Botany 05606 An appropriate Bachelor's Degree with an average of 60% or more. In instances where a student does not have an average of 60% or more students will be restricted to the registration of CSR4801 in their first year of registration, and the student must pass this module before continuing with the qualification. 120 7
Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Management 98102 An appropriate Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with an average of 60% or more, in the disciplines of Natural Sciences, Applied Sciences or Physical Sciences (or related fields). A student who does not have an average of 60% or more will be restricted to the registration of a maximum 2 modules (or 48 credits) in their first year of registration. Such students will be required to pass these modules before continuing with the remaining modules for the qualification. 120 8
Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Monitoring and Modelling 98103 An appropriate Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with an average of 60% or more, in the disciplines of Natural Sciences, Applied Sciences or Physical Sciences (or related fields). A student who does not have an average of 60% or more will be restricted to the registration of a maximum of 48 credits in their first year of registration. Such students will be required to pass these modules before continuing with the remaining modules for the qualification. 120 8
Bachelor of Consumer Science Honours 98104 An appropriate Bachelor's Degree with an average of 60% or more. A student who does not have an average of 60% or more will be restricted to the registration of CSR4801 in their first year of registration. Such students will be required to pass this module before continuing with the remaining four modules for the qualification. 120 8
Bachelor of Science Honours in Geography 98105 An appropriate Bachelor's Degree with an average of 60% or more in the discipline of Geography. A student who does not have an average of 60% or more will be restricted to the registration of HPGGH80 in their first year of registration. Such students will be required to pass this module before continuing with the remaining four modules for the qualification. 120 8
Bachelor of Arts Honours in Environmental Management 98108 An appropriate Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with an average of 60% or more, in the related field on NQF level 7. A student who does not have an average of 60% or more will be restricted to the registration of a maximum of 2 modules (or 48 credits) in their first year of registration. Such students will be required to pass these modules before continuing with the remaining modules for the qualification. 120 7
