'Transforming teaching and learning in ODL environments in Africa'
Our highly qualified staff members are here to help lecturers to develop educationally sound learning experiences and environments for our students suited to our open and distance learning (ODL) context. Our expertise is in curriculum development, instructional design and learning development. We believe in engaged learning. We offer continuing professional learning (CPL) to lecturers related to teaching, learning and assessment and writing for ODL. We are knowledgeable about the legislative environment and can offer training or coaching on topics related to outcomes-based education, for instance. We also conduct research into ODL and are happy to work with lecturers on joint research projects related to teaching, learning or assessment in their modules or programmes.
