The Migration and Citizenship Rights Network (MiCRiNET) is a Strategic Project of the University of South Africa (UNISA) administered by the VerLoren van Themaat Centre for Public Law Studies in the College of Law. MiCRiNET was launched in May 2010.

The aim of the project is to establish a sustainable network of scholars, institutions and policy makers involved in the study of the relationship between migration and conceptions of citizenship in the SADC region.

To this end, we are in the process of compiling a data base of organizations which work with migrants and trying to identify what they do and how best to work with them.
