Tutorial Support Services

The Department of Mercantile Law provides tutorial support services at the Unisa Learning Centres for students registered for different modules in the Mercantile Law Department. This support is in the form of regular face-to-face tutorials which are organised at learning centres on saturdays. Tutorials last for a minimum of one hour in which a tutor, usually a qualified lawyer or practitioner, is employed to facilitate the learning process for those students who requested this support. Unisa has Learning Centres in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Polokwane, Umtata and Durban.

Unisa also provides support in the form of satellite broadcasts at dedicated Satellite Centres. This form of support enables students to receive lectures via satellite broadcast at their nearest dedicated Satellite Centres.
