A community of scholars critically engaged with issues of faith arising out of our contexts.

Mission:

We pursue this vision through the disciplines of Christian Spirituality, Church History and Missiology by:

1. developing quality scholarship that integrates research, teaching and organic participation in communities
2. fostering interdisciplinary and interreligious cooperation
3. designing teaching in such a way that students have to engage with their communities
4. providing interactive learner support
5. encouraging participation in the disciplinary societies in Africa and the world
