School of Accounting SciencesAccounting involves identifying, measuring and recording events which influence an enterprise's financial situation and results, and the processing, communication, interpretation and use of the resultant information. At under and postgraduate level the focus is on income tax, cost and management accounting, financial accounting, planning and administration of deceased and insolvent estates, and local government accounting. Exam results will be released as they become available; results for all modules will not be released simultaneously. BCompt students with one module outstanding: Please note that no special exam will be granted for the module during the January/February exam period. A special exam will be granted during the May/June exam period.
