It is the vision of the Department of Finance  and Risk Management and Banking to be the benchmark for academic excellence in the Open Distance Learning of Finance, Risk Management and Banking.

Mission

Within Unisa, the College of Economic and Management Sciences and the School of Management Sciences, it is the mission of the Department of Finance, Risk Management and Banking to:

• offer quality teaching and learning opportunities in finance, risk management and banking
• undertake relevant and ethical research in finance, risk management and banking
• be involved in curriculum related and research related community engagement
• practice accountable and responsible academic citizenship
