Insurance courses and programmesInsurance courses and programmes are offered by the Unisa Centre for Business Management (CBM) in association with the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA). IISA awards various levels of professional designations, ranging from licentiates to fellowships. Completing a Unisa insurance course or programme provides clear evidence of educational achievement and is linked to the professional designations of IISA. The composition of the insurance courses and programmes is determined by Unisa, following consultation with IISA. IISA also bears the responsibility of ensuring that prescribed books are of a high quality and up-to-date. Students have to order their prescribed books from IISA once they have registered with Unisa. Access to a personal computer and the internet is also required in order for students to be able to download study material from the student portal, myUnisa (https://my.unisa.ac.za). The following Insurance courses and programmes are offered:
Remember, Unisa is an open distance learning institution. As a result, students do not attend any classes for the Insurance courses and programmes. Instead, they study at a time and place that is convenient to them. Communication with fellow students and lecturers occurs via myUnisa at https://my.unisa.ac.za. |
