aim: This qualification is designed for securitymanagers.You will be equipped with the skills and the ability to design, develop,implement and evaluate a total cost - effective security programme, in order to add value to the organisation being protected.
BTech ( Security Risk Management)

duration: 4 years

aim: To qualify you to function as a security manager on a strategic level within the industry.

The MTech degree comprises of a research thesis. Learners who register for this course should have passed the subject Research Methodology.

Aim In the thesis learners must prove that they understand a particular problem in the private sector or security industry in which they intend doing research; able to analyse logically; are able to arrive at logical conclusions/diagnosis and are able to make proposals for the improvement/elimination of the problem. The thesis must comply with the normal general technical requirements and rules with regard to the scope, quality and layout as set out by UNISA.
