This is an academic organization for students registered in the Departments of Political Sciences, Public Administration and Development Administration [UNISA]
About the organization
P O D A S A has been in existence for a few years. In its short history, it has succeeded in holding seminars and debates on numerous issues, participated in intervarsity seminars with other institutions like the University of Pretoria and the Rand Afrikaans University. P O D A S A has also visited essential institutions like the Gauteng Legislature that expose students to working environments and has hosted prominent influential figures in the country (eg, the cast of the Yizo Yizo drama series)
Past events
PODASA hosted a regional students' conference on the 3rd and 4th March 2005.
The theme of the conference was Developmental Challenges Facing the SADC Region in the Light of New Democracies.
