Certificate programmes - Registration for 2013 Closed (11 January 2013)

Important notice from TELT

Dear prospective student please note that

  • No new students may register in the middle of the year
  • We will only register additional modules for those students who registered at the beginning of 2013 for a course in TELT (Centre for Transport Economics, Logistics and Tourism).
  • The Programme in Road Transport Management (course code 01910) and The Programme in Business Logistics: A Transport Approach (course code 01902), are suspended for 2014 while the study guides are updated for both.
  • Prospective students may register for the Programme in International Freight Management and Administration for Importers and Exporters (course code 01929) from 1 December 2013 for the 2014 academic year.

To complete an entry level tertiary qualification in tourism it is recommended that you register for the Higher Certificate in Tourism Management (Qualification code: 98226). This qualification will not only give you an overview of the tourism industry but will also provide you with opportunities for lifelong learning; and may enable you to later register for a Diploma in Tourism Management. More information about this course can be found on the department’s course webpage. You will first need to apply for a Unisa student number before you can register for the higher certificate.
