The Research Institute for Theology and Religion initiates, develops, manages and disseminates theological and religious research through its interface with society, primarily within the South African context.

As a centre of excellence we provide these services in partnership with all faculty members and other national and international stakeholders for the benefit of students, researchers, religious communities and society.
